"Wake up—the world is alive."

  I'm never good at writing biographies. I hate having to talk about myself, to be honest, as when I read it back I sound awkward, boastful, or both. However, I figure I should fill this profile out for once, seeing as it's been empty since this journal's creation.
  Hello there. My name is Michael King, and I live on the outskirts of the city of Plymouth, situated in the beautiful county of Devon in the south west region of the United Kingdom. I am seventeen years of age, and I attend the Sixth Form of Devonport High School for Boys, an all-male grammar school in Plymouth. I am currently in Year 13, my final year, and have applied to read Mathematics at university.
  I throw discus for City of Plymouth Athletics Club, training up to twice a week. I have represented my county at regional athletics championships, and was picked as a reserve for the national championships in 2009. I am an avid supporter of Plymouth Argyle Football Club, a team in the second-highest division of English football.
  In my spare time, I participate on two Pokémon forums; I am a regular member of PokéCommunity and a super moderator of The BBS (owned by the lovely

banzaisebastian. I also maintain The Archive, a website for the purposes of revision for my school's Year 13 Philosophy & Ethics class.
